B i o g r a p h y

I began playing guitar when I was 11 years old, taught first by my Dad, then by several talented studio musicians in New York. I began performing at an early age, and taught guitar and music theory during my high school and college years.

I formed Guitar Travels in 2003 and continue to perform regularly in the North Carolina region. My influences come from many of the world's great jazz guitarists, but I am particularly drawn to the artistry of  Wes Montgomery, George Benson, Lee Ritenour, Chet Atkins, Larry Carlton and Pat Metheny.

I always customize my musical offering to meet my client’s requirements, ranging from solo electric, acoustical and classical guitar, to guitar with full digital accompaniment. My CD entitled Guitar Travels – A Musical Journey is available on iTunes and consists of 19 original works, written to  celebrate the diversity and multiculturalism of our community here in Charlotte North Carolina. One of the album’s songs – 'East of Sahara' was featured on a national jazz radio show, and the song  'Passion Dance' was selected as the background track for a video produced by Charlotte Viewpoint.

My latest CD  titled Guitar Travels - the Journey Continues was released in February 2016 and is available on CdBaby.com, Amazon, iTunes and many other global digital download sites.
